You’ll have probably seen banners all over Manface for MMUK Man, a fabulous online men’s cosmetic store that as well as selling some of the industries best loved makeup products for men, also has their own line of luxury cosmetics. MMUK Man and Manface have been working together since the very first days of Manface and despite their advertising, I’m under no obligation to give any sort of positive review whatsoever; this is purely because I like the product.

This particular product is the MMUK Man Cover Up Stick (shade N3) – a creamy, full coverage concealer that blends easily and covers up a whole host of skin imperfections.

The MMUK line has been produced by the same manufacturer that produced MAC cosmetics before they were taken over by Estée Lauder Companies; this is really apparent through the packaging and quality of the product (I also know the costings for these products too and they’re high!). The compact packaging feels quality, weighty and smooth on the twist with a firm click.

The product blends easily, really easily and I have to stress that a little goes a long way. If you’re new to the world of concealers and are wanting to take the jump into covering products, please let me push you into also buying a concealer brush. I use the Bobbi Brown concealer brush but MMUK Man also have their own. This both prevents you applying too much product and also creates a much smoother blend. Also, if it’s to cover spots, using your finger with concealer almost always causes it to move around but not on the spot; nightmare, but a brush helps.

With mineral pigments and even Vitamin E antioxidant to protect and nourish the skin it definitely lasts through the day. I’ve been using it for spots and the odd blemish but it is soft enough to be used under the eyes; however, make sure you use an eye cream first else it might end up looking powdery and dragging. On the skin it looks smooth and isn’t shiny, but instead in between dewy and matt. On the swatch photo above, the closer swatch is unblended and just behind it is the same sized swatch blended; flawless.

I love, love, love this and what makes it even cooler is that it feels like it’s mine, it’s been produced, marketed and sold to me rather than me invading the mainstream female makeup market and being ignored and treated as a moron at most counters.

MMUK MAN Concealer Stick For Men is available for £15 here from MMUK MAN (10% off first order with code MMUK10) and comes in 9 shades covering all skin tones and I’d say the online swatches are pretty reliable.
