Baccarat Rouge 540 is the result of a partnering of Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Maison Baccarat in celebration of the 250th anniversary of this iconic crystal house. The name is in reference to the creation of crystals and gold powder that when fused at 540 degrees, turns into beautiful scarlet jewels. As a little touch, there’s a red crystal chandelier behind the front label.
The notes are a top of jasmine and saffron; a heart of ambergris accord and finally a base of cedar accord and fir balsam.
