This is another in my series of beautiful fragrance reviews and I have to tell you that this is now my all-ocassion evening accessory, replacing many of my best-loved – it’s just too delicious. Strong, confident, bold, balmy and reminiscent of the real classic fragrances for men, real men.

The bottle is a thick and very solid glass that fits beautifully in the palm of the hand. It feels like you should be able to pull a pin out of the neck and throw it towards the enemy. The bottle top, engraved with the KK logo, is made of a very heavy metal that sinks easily and gently onto the perfume.
Bulgarian Rose Honey, Benzoin and Incense are the brute strength behind this enticing autumnal scent, reinforced by cedar, caraway and sandalwood and then soothed by gentle rose and yang-ylang. It just makes my mouth water.

I really can’t recommend this enough, it’s like a hug in a bottle, enshrouding you and everyone in your proximity with an embrace of loving warmth. This weekend I was away at Abbey House Hotel in the Lake District, a beautiful and grand location that welcomes you with roaring coal fires and large open spaces all in period design – this fragrance could not have suited this comforting, classy and cosy place any better.
As well as the fragrance, there is also an accompanying candle that I would honestly climb over dead bodies to get my hands on. I cannot stress enough, if you never listen to another word I say, get this fragrance in your life for Christmas and I promise it’ll be a merry one.
