Tom Ford’s first delve into body-care has been an amazing addition to their private blend collection, the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Shower Gel.
The fragrance itself is somehing very hard to convey in writing and it’s definitely worth going to your nearest counter, which is often few and far between, only being available in speciality doors such as Selfridges and Harrod’s. The fragrance is described as being citrus oils, infused with floral notes and amber undertones. It’s very much a unisex fragrance, not being overly floral and light, but then not being overbearingly woody and deep.
There is a fairly wide range, including a Shower Gel, Soap, Body Scrub, Body Lotion, Body Oil, and then the 50ml and 25oml fragrance. I have to say I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the fragrance, sticking with the 50ml size as it’s an atomizer and fits nicely in my bag to carry around with. The Shower Gel is stunning, you need only a very small amount to produce a wonderfully rich and creamy lather, in abundance I might add. Your skin is left with hints of the fragrance and feeling soft and well cleansed; a perfect base for the fragrance to layer over the top.
If you’ve never encountered Tom Ford fragrances before, they’re definitely worth looking at. I have to say, despite being newly obsessed with Neroli Portofino, I am still in love with Tobacco Vanil! Check them out!
