The Body Shop is in the process of a humongous makeover. Their Trafford Centre store closed last Saturday and is undergoing a three week transformation and is one of a good few doing so. If you search hard enough around the internet you can see stores that have already had this. As well as a new look store, many of the most famous products are getting a little bit of a facelift too, including their famous Body Butters.
Why is it that The Body Shop’s Body Butters are so good? Well its because they have a patented method of production which I believe includes heating the ingredients up, and dropping them down a huge cooling funnel which thickens the product without needing to add tonnes of emulsifiers and thickening agents. They also include Community Fair Trade Cocoa and Shea butter which leaves you skin heavenly soft and moisturised for such a long time. They’re iconic of the brand and remain integral to it. Everyone I meet has fallen in love with them.
So the new facelift sees rid of the photo covers and seemingly the cover text in favour of the famous shell logo, a The Body Shop logo in the centre which looking at the picture seems as though it’s possibly metallic, and then gorgeous photos of the main ingredient in the centre. The packaging container remains the same as its almost as iconic as the product.
All I can say is, I’m very excited.
