The NEW Crème de La Mer The Cleansing Gel is where it’s all at. I’m a huge fan of the original The Cleansing Gel, a cleanser that seems to last a scarily long amount of time; mine being near the end of its life after being in use for almost a year. So what’s the difference?
Firstly, the most obvious difference is the packaging upgrade; a more solid, heavy duty pump bottle with chrome-look pump and neck, robust plastic cap and thick, transparent body.
The main upgrades are the all important ingredients. Still including the positively charged Deconstructed Waters™ to more effectively life away dirt, debris and pollutants, Crème de La Mer The Cleansing Gel now features the Miracle Broth™. The Miracle Broth™ is the power behind the Crème de La Mer brand, the precious sea kelp extract that when formulated in The Cleansing Gel will soothe the skin, reduce sensitive outbreaks and increase overall skin radiance and brightness.
The Cleansing Gel is the perfect cleanser for guys as it’s designed to reduce excess oil whilst keep the moisture barrier balanced, soothed and skin protected. Many men’s cleansers tend to be overly harsh and strip the skin but you can rest assured the this will leave you soft, mattified but smooth and soft. You only need the smallest amount – 1/2 pumps at a time and a bottle this size should last for months.
I’ve been using it for 2 months now and I honestly prefer it to the original. In comparison, the original does leave your skin a little dryer and more in need of moisture when you’ve dried off. The new The Cleansing Gel gives you the same positive results but my skin definitely feels more nourished and not particularly in need of much moisture at all.
