Wrapped in citrus and wood barks, the orange blossom weaves a painter’s dream from which escapes the pale curl of smoke from a narghile. Like an orientalist painting, furiously romantic, the vigorous scent of the cade and the solar splinter of citrus fruits spring out like a thin steel blade in silky shadow of vanilla.

Following the travelling vibe from this morning’s post for the Great Antler Brit Kit, allow me to introduce Cire Trudon Odalisque Travel Room Spray is perfect for freshening up your hotel room and making it feel like home; banishing the smell of bleached/starched linens. Odalisque is my absolute favourite home fragrance from Cire Trudon (I featured the candle here back in February 2013).

There’s top notes of lemon and orange; heart notes of orange blossom and finally a base of wild juniper and vanilla.

Even for a fairly large area, 1 spray is more than sufficient as you’re room becomes illuminated with the bright citruses and tangy freshness Odalisque so beautifully offers. The scent also lasts an incredibly long time, hours in fact.

Cire Trudon Odalisque Travel Room Spray is available for £62 here from Selfridges.
