Released a month before the start of the French Open tennis tournament, Lacoste Eau De Lacoste Energized Edition is a limited edition and a flanker/twist to Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Blanc. It celebrates the sport of tennis with the Lacoste croc emblazoned with the competing flags of the world.
It’s so cotton fresh, crisp and very successfully masculine floral. The blend is relatively simple with a top of ginger and mint, a heart of tuberose and a base of vetiver.
I think where Energized tops Blanc is it’s lastability – really don’t go mad with this as it has a very wide fragrance throw and retains its structure all day after the dry down. It’s very sporty and I’ve been splashing this on after the gym (showered of course!). It’s very uplifting and for a masstige fragrance, a solid buy – most Lacoste fragrances are to be honest.
Housed in solid glass, it’s a gorgeous bottle but don’t worry about throwing this in your gym bag; it’s one of those that if you dropped it on the floor, the floor would come off worse ;-)
