After much champagne and delicious treats, feeling a teeny bit tipsy and a lot full, I left Harvey Nichols and lolled into a Taxi thinking about all of the great new beauty treats lined up ready for Autumn, Winter and Christmas.

There was so much it’s hard to know where to start. Actually I do, Balenciaga have launched their stunning new fragrance Florabotanica is an exclusive until – I believe – the 19th of this month.

It’s a stunning Autumn fragrance with notes of mint, carnation, hybrid rose, caladium leaves, amber and vetiver. Delicious!

Linking onto fragrance, the almighty Jo Malone has just launched their brand new Blackberry & Bay range, a full collection including body, fragrance and home fragrance products. It smells delicious, and thinking it was going to be sickly fruity, was pleasantly surprised when as well as the sharp and exuberant blackberry was the beautiful leafy greens from the Bay, like smelling a Blackberry Bush on a brisk, cold, country walk – very true to life!

So, what else? Oh, the most amazing razor you’ve laid eyes and the perfect gift for him for Christmas. Solid chrome with an amazing weight and so tactile, I couldn’t stop playing with it. It takes standard Gilette Mach III blades so they’re easy to replace. I was told by one of Harvey Nichols’ amazing beauty department managers about the whole range that was on offer and I had a look (but didn’t get chance to photography) a gorgeous box of grooming essentials, also from Hommage. Definitely worth checking out!

Penhaligon’s a Christmas favourite, and they’ve brought out their classic favourites in some stunningly designed gift boxes, each containing a matching match box. As well as the candles, there’s large and mini sets of the equally luxurious fragrances.

There’s some great stuff going on in Harvey Nichols – Manchester this season, their beauty hall is still in the process of getting a stunning makeover and is expanding right through to the front of the store. If you want to relax, escape the hustle and bustle of Manchester city centre, then pop in and relax, you’ll thank me!
Finally here’s me, trying to look sophisticated and interesting, but achieving neither:
