This is the first of my many discoveries whilst on my trip to Barclona.
Summer is not that far away, we’re going into April, which will very soon be May and then bang, so it’s best to get in early. For this review I’ll be looking at the new Dior Bronze Self Tanning Oil, a light dry oil spray that gives a light and natural looking tan.
Now being Dior, you would expect this product to be a little more luxurious than your standard fake bake, and you’d be right. The product comes in a beautiful bronzed box of which you lift out a bronzed glass bottle with a dark brown lid adorned with a silver CD logo. Brilliant.
The spray comes out very fine, more like a mist than a spray. There’s a light fragrance that doesn’t last long and isn’t overbearing. The man from the Dior counter in Sephora showed me that you should spray it on and then rub it in, but I actually found that if you hold the product about 30cm away, it will spray evenly and won’t need rubbing in. Make sure you apply this in the shower by the way and then give it a quick rinse down.
For a top tip, in the instruction booklet, the Dior Innovation Centre recommends that for a deeper tan, apply again after three hours and use 2-3 times a week to keep your tan topped up.
Finally it contains Beta-endorphins that lift the mood of the wearer on contact so as well as looking good the product helps to make you feel lifted, all set for summer then!
