You may have seen my review a little while ago of L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Lotion where I talked about an impending Korean import trending it’s way into our market over the next year. Crème de la Mer The Treatment Lotion is another product from a big player to bring this technology to market, a lotion that’s not a toner but is another step to come in-between cleansing and moisturising, so: cleanse, tone, treatment lotion, moisturise, serum…
Crème de la Mer The Treatment Lotion hydrates the skin and preps it, allowing your moisturiser to absorb and reportedly delivering a 75% increase in hydration.
Formulated with The Miracle Broth, the famous essence and power behind the brand, Crème de la Mer The Treatment Lotion also sees The New Revitalizing Ferment; with Scenedesmus, a dormant algae found in the desert that once formed part of the ocean floor, that can be revived with a single drop of water as well as 73 sea minerals that replicate the properties naturally found in seawater.
After cleansing and toning the skin, shake a good few drops into the palms of your hands and then begin to press and sweep across the skin; being gentle is key. After around 30 seconds, your skin is primed and prepped to take on your moisturising regimen.
Don’t just take my application advice, check out the short video from Crème de la Mer of a woman who’s face, hair and skin are all the same colour apply it over a full face of makeup.
Crème de la Mer The Treatment Lotion is £80 and doesn’t seem to be comprehensively available online at all Crème stockists yet but it is available here at John Lewis.
