How To Use NEW Clinique Fresh Pressed 7-Day System with Pure Vitamin C and Full Ingredients List

This isn’t a new product concept on the market, but as Clinique does, they’ve taken the technology; perfected it and then tested it to the ends of the earth. Vitamin C treatments tend to be quite active, so the fact this has been tested and approved for sensitive skin is quite a coup.

The Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser and Fresh Pressed Daily Booster are available separately but the 7-Day System features a 7-day supply of both.

7 days is enough to give your skin a high-impact shot, although particularly with the booster, this’ll be something I’ll likely use continuously.

Inside the box is 7 sachets of the cleansing powder and a foil topped tube of the daily booster. In regards to the packaging, although they’ve refined the usage process down, for Clinique, it does seem a little clunky.

Vitamin C in Skincare

Both the cleanser and the treatment deliver 10% pure Vitamin C which both provides a shot of antioxidants to the skin whilst removing dead skin cells and resurfacing the upper layers. Vitamin C is inherantly unstable.

Many products that contain Vitamin C use Ascorbyl palmitate which lasts for a long time but doesn’t easily penetrate the skin. L-Ascorbic Acid, which is what you’re getting in the Clinique Fresh Pressed system, is a much less stable form of Vitamin C and is why the products require mixing before use to activate.

Clinique Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser

This is the first step of the Clinique Fresh Pressed system. The 7-day system comes with 7 sachets of the cleanser and is best used each evening of the 7 days.

As well as 10% Vitamin C, there’s also cleansing Kaolin Clay and clarifying Salicylic Acid.
