Davines Well-Being Shampoo and Conditioner

This gorgeous new range from Davines has been designed to de-stress hair, give great lift and hydrate whilst being completely paraben free and harnessing the power of Echinacea.

The shampoo comes out of the bottle as a pearlised white gel and as you start to work it into a wet scalp begins to foam beautifully, giving a rich and creamy lather that feels neither heavy or stripping. As you rinse it through, your hair doesn’t all matte together and feel squeaky, but instead, soft and thoroughly cleansed, leaving no sign of any product you might have had in there before.

You will be forgiven for how you use the conditioner, there’s nothing on the front of the bottle that signifies you need to use it any differently, but in all honesty after trying it a few times, you don’t need to. It actually suggests that you need to apply it to towel dried hair and then rinse out. I mean who is going to get in the shower, shampoo their hair, get out, dry it off, then get back in and rinse it out again?

By all means, do that, and I have tried their method, but just apply it into your hair once you’ve washed the shampoo out and then rinse. I’m assuming their method is geared more towards women who would want to use a de-tangling come with their hair products, and as we tend to have shorter hair, it retains less water and so seems to make not much difference.

Your hair afterwards will feel great, it has a beautiful natural shine as opposed to an artificial, hi-shine gloss. My hair felt so lifted and looked fuller. I have thin hair, but an absolute bucket load of it, so it can go flat quite easily, but with these it looked bouncy and big!

Currently you can only buy Davines Well-Being Shampoo / Conditioner in selected Salons and a few online retailers, I’ve used and really liked Salon Skincare and they do stock the full Davines product line. If you try it, let me know!
