NEW Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask & Scrub

Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask Scrub

Well this is exciting. For anyone who lives a fast life, particularly living in a city / town surrounded by pollution, sweat and grim; this takes its toll on your skin. Pores become blocked, radiance is lost and spots/blemishes can start to appear.

Around once every 6 weeks I come down to London for a week. Mainly to catch up with brands and PR but also spend some time with my two best friends who moved here a while back – I live up north because I can work anywhere there’s a computer and WiFi/4G. But, every time I leave, my skin feels disgusting, oily and I have far more spots than I came with. Coupled with the fact that sometimes when I blow my nose, black comes out because of all the soot and pollution from the Underground. It’s all too much!

So launching this July, Clinique are here to the rescue expanding the very small City Block franchise with new Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask & Scrub. It’s kind of similar to the Pore Refining Solutions Charcoal Mask but a bit muddier and with the addition of deep scrubbing particles (softer but similar to the Men’s facial scrub).

As with any Clinique launch, no one gets the full ingredients list until it goes live on counter/online and this is so new, the press release hasn’t even been created yet.Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask Scrub sample

Essentially, the silica beads remove dead skin, unblock pores and give you that glow back whilst the charcoal actively sucks impurities out of the skin, then allowing you to use your favourite serums and moisturisers to rehydrate and treat.

Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask & Scrub will be available in store and on counter as of this July.

This sounds so good! I was horrified when I went to London and I got “the black stuff” – grim! I also had trouble breathing and I broke out as well… better stay in Yorkshire!

Absolutely to all of these Dannie! The pollution is just too much and the tap water is gross. I hate to sound like a stereotypical northerner, but it really does make you appreciate what we have up here! x
