Naked Bare Faced Cheek Softening Face Wash

With 97% natural ingredients, Naked are a fantastic brand for those of you wanting to delve into the world of natural and organic based skincare with some of their products being up to 99.5% natural ingredients, but even if you’re not all that bothered about being natural, they produce some darn good skincare that I feel competes with the rest of them.

With me, it’s all about facial washes, I find that whatever moisturisers, serums, balms and moisturisers I use, the wrong facial wash / cleanser can render them all far less effective. Particularly with us guys, who are often more oil prone anyway, we need something that can thoroughly cleanse away the dirt and debris, but without leaving us tight, dry and unprotected through our natural oils, so, Naked Bare Faced Cheek Softening Face Wash to the rescue.

With Damask Rose being used as a skin conditioner and softener, packed with anti-oxidants to restrain those naturally occurring but highly dangerous free radicals, Naked say “your face should feel as clear as a brand new credit card”, which as an expression, I love. Then accompanied by geranium, palmarosa (great for oily / combination skin types), orange peel and star anise, my skin really did feel well cleansed after use, but not gasping for moisture by any means.

The product smells great and I found it to give a great lather. I have to mention the price point as when I first tried the product I thought “the packaging is a bit naff for something I’m imagining costs a pretty penny”, but no, at just £4.49 for a 200ml, I’m absolutely blown away at the product quality, ethics and branding. Their ranges look fantastic and I’m looking forward to exploring it further. For more information check their site out here. If you’ve tried their products before or end up doing so, drop me a comment to let me know how you get on.

I love their shampoos and conditioners! I also use their anti-frizz serum on my hair because it is silicone free. I’ve been wanted to try more of their range but I can’t always get what I want in Boots. But I know they have a website.
