Manface Best of 2013

Very simply, this is my roundup of favourite products form 2013. It’s been an odd year full of highs and lows but needless to say, the quality of products and the expansion of the men’s grooming sector has been outstanding with some insane innovations.

1. Sampar Glamour Shot

The most incredible treatment product I’ve come across. Everyone I show it to is blown away and it’s my absolute essential. In 60 seconds, pores are rendered invisible, the skin is 100% mattified (which actually lasts) and skin is pulled, lifted, brightened and hydrated.

2. Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Post Shave Healer

3. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5

4. Wilkinson Hydro 5 Power Select

The best razor I’ve come across to date. This year I’ve been free from ingrown hairs and razor burn with the Wilkinson Hydro 5 Power Select being the only difference.

5. Jo Loves Orange Tulle

A delicious fragrance from Jo Malone’s new powerhouse – Jo Loves.

6. Crème de la Mer The Lip Balm

7. ALDI Lacura Lip Care

8. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+

I was so unsure how this would turn out, being a massive fan of the original from 1968, I was sceptical to say the least; it’s like a movie remake, it could either be Batman or 2001 Planet of The Apes. Needless to say it was Batman and is my regular, daily moisturiser come rain or shine.

9. Cire Trudon Odalisque Candle

A delicious candle and perfect for any home.

10. Fudge Skyscraper Hairspray

This time last year, for me, it was all about Schwarzkopf Got2B Glued hairspray, well, not anymore.

11.  Nivea for Men Invisible Black & White Deodorant

The best deodorant. End of.

12. Crème de la Mer The Eye Concentrate

When you’re doing this job, your eyes get tired and dark from all the late nights, bright computer screens and busy evenings. Crème de la Mer The Eye Concentrate has left me nothing but dark circle free and my eyes are kept bright and radiant.

13. Aveda Phomolliant

14. Murad Blemish Control Body Wash

For ultimate body confidence, wherever you suffer with body blemishes, let this take care of it.

15. Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream

16. Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser

Sampar sounds quite phenomenal. Had heard good things about the Dew product so was planning on adding the brand to my “to check out list” but this has pushed it to the top.
