Season’s Tweetings Lush Christmas Gift

The third offering I’m looking at from this years’ LUSH Christmas collection, and this is just as beautiful and uniquely designed as the rest. The first thing that always strikes me about LUSH gifts, is that they’re wrapped and not plonked in a cheap cardboard box with wrapping ‘printed’ on it, but actually wrapped in paper, with ribbon, perfect to place under the tree – just make sure you remove the tag first! Season’s Tweetings contains a selection of products designed to cleanse, treat and nourish your skin.

Hate the name, love the product. I am very proud of the fact I have never seen any of the Twilight films, read the books and overt my eyes to any passing posters, they’re the most abhorrent loose stool water of the very worst kind. This shower gel on the other hand, is not. It’s actually my new favourite LUSH shower gel and it’s awful that it’s only a limited edition, I’ll be sad to see it go. With Lavender flower infusion, Tonka extract and Ylang-Ylang, it’s deeply calming and floral but with this warm, sweet undertone. In the shower the other morning, I was contemplating what a beautiful eau de toilette it would make.

A delicious body moisturiser  packed with one of my favourite ingredients – argan oil as well as cocoa butter, cupuaçu butter, brazil nut oil, almond oil and fair trade shea butter and oji berry juice. Even though it’s scented with Rose oil, it’s quite buttery and you can really smell the argan oil. It sinks in easily and leaves your skin incredibly soft.

I’ve bought this for myself in the past and absolutely loved it. It’s a hand serum in a bar form that melts into the skin, assisting in the reparation of dry, cracked and rough hands. I kept it in my LUSH tin at my desk and used it as and when needed. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t leave you scrambling for a towel. Fragranced with Marigold, Chamomile and Lime, you’re left smelling buttery and fragrant whilst the moisturising argan oil, shea, cocoa and aloe vera get to work. This is also lovely for feet too!

It seems almost all the LUSH Christmas gifts this year contain this beautifully softening soap. Snowcake soap smells like marzipan, really sweet and soft but not sickly and bland. The coconut oil will leave your skin feeling great, but equally well cleansed and dirt free. I’ve already used one, have one on my bath-side and have another one waiting. I’m addicted.
