STEAMCREAM Natural Moisturiser

This has been in my review list for a while now, and I was fortunate enough to pick up a STEAMCREAM All-in-One Natural Moisturiser when I visited Hyper Japan back in November. So what is it? Well, STEAMCREAM is an award-winning, multi-purpose, nourishing and hydrating cream, hand-made in small batches with fresh, natural ingredients and formulated using a unique and rather magical process of steaming.

Steamcream-1

So why steaming? Why would you want to use steam? Well through their unique, traditional and ethical process, they’re able to create a light and beautifully nourishing cream without using a drop of emulsifier, artificial or otherwise. The thing I love about the product and brand is how open they are with its ingredients and how obvious it is that they enjoy showing them off, as you can see here. It’s designed to nourish, calm and hydrate the skin and because of the unique steam process, the cream is able to penetrate the skin much more effectively.

Orange flower water, oatmeal and vegetable glycerine, almond and jojoba oils, and cocoa butter, to name a few, the ingredients here are to die for. The smell, as you can imagine, is out of this world. I’ve not been using this on my face, although you certainly can, but on the tops of my arms where I’ve been getting slightly inflamed follicles and a little dryness. After only a few days use I could feel a difference and after a few weeks, I could see its effects as the slight follicle inflammation had died down.

I can’t talk about STEAMCREAM without mentioning Japan. The Japanese skin care industry is HUGE and enormously lucrative with the Japanese being some of the world’s biggest skin care obsessives. If a product does well there, it’s a sign of enormous quality and STEAMCREAM is one of those products; so much so that STEAMCREAM have started production in Japan just to fulfil national demand.

Grazia, You, Vogue, Stylist and InStyle love this product and so does Manface. The one product is available in an infinite and ever expanding array of differently designed tins. I personally like the original, but you can see all their collection here, each priced at just £12.95 each. I love this, and really recommend having this in your skin care armada as its uses are endless, cold-ridden noses, eczema, acne, anything that needs soothing.
